Bringing the Scenic Outdoors Inside
For decades, the generosity of donors has played a vital role in helping Mayers Healthcare Foundation support the healthcare needs of the Intermountain region. To recognize the individuals, families, businesses, and organizations who contributed to the largest capital campaign in the Foundation’s history, Mayers Healthcare Foundation partnered with Partners In Recognition to create a healthcare campaign donor display that honors the generosity behind the new Mayers Memorial Hospital Diagnostics and Emergency Department expansion.
Located within the new hospital lobby, the display does more than recognize donor names. Built into a waiting area divider, it serves as an architectural feature that welcomes patients and visitors while reflecting the community support that helped make this transformational project possible.
A Foundation Built on Community Support
Inspired by the vision of Dr. and Mrs. Mayers to create a community hospital, Mayers Healthcare Foundation connects donor generosity with the healthcare needs of the Intermountain communities it serves. Through fundraising initiatives and community support, the Foundation helps fund projects, programs, and improvements that enhance patient care at Mayers Memorial Hospital.
The Diagnostics and Emergency Department expansion represented a major milestone for the Foundation. A Display Inspired by the Northern California Landscape
Rather than functioning as a traditional donor wall, the display was thoughtfully integrated into the architecture of the hospital lobby. The design brings the surrounding Northern California landscape indoors through sanded acrylic panels featuring painted mountain details and donor names.
In addition, brushed steel accents and dimensional metal hardware create depth and contrast throughout the display. The combination of natural imagery and contemporary materials creates a distinctive recognition feature that complements the surrounding hospital environment.
By incorporating regional inspiration into the design, the display creates a meaningful connection between the hospital, its donors, and the community it serves.
A Permanent Etched Tribute to Generosity
Because the campaign represents a significant achievement in the Foundation’s history, Partners In Recognition utilized a Permanent System to create a lasting tribute to those who helped make the expansion possible.
