Identity Graphics, Endowments and Distinguished Awards for Georgia Southern

Recognition throughout a university should do more than celebrate achievements. With this goal in mind, Georgia Southern University partnered with Partners In Recognition to create a comprehensive collection of university identity displays and recognition features throughout the Parker College of Business.

The completed collection includes permanent identity displays, Distinguished Award Winner recognition, College Endowment recognition, and named room plaques. Although each installation serves a unique purpose, the consistent use of university imagery, colors, dimensional elements, and architectural materials creates a cohesive visual experience throughout the facility.

A Legacy of Excellence at Georgia Southern University

Founded in 1906, Georgia Southern University has grown into a comprehensive institution dedicated to academic achievement, innovation, and student success. Establishing a Strong Parker College Identity

A strong visual identity helps create a sense of place and connects students, faculty, alumni, and visitors to the traditions of an institution. To accomplish this, Partners In Recognition designed permanent university identity displays that highlight the Parker College of Business and Georgia Southern University brand.

A large dimensional eagle emblem fabricated from satin brushed natural aluminum creates a bold architectural statement and serves as a recognizable symbol of the university. In addition, the permanent Parker College of Business identification display incorporates university graphics, colors, and matching metal finishes to create a welcoming feature for everyone entering the space.

Together, these permanent elements establish a consistent identity that ties the recognition program to the university’s history, traditions, and future.

Recognition Designed to Grow with the College

Beyond establishing the College’s identity, Georgia Southern University needed recognition displays that could continue evolving as new achievements are celebrated and additional contributions are honored. To meet these changing needs, Partners In Recognition utilized their Clear Change System for the Distinguished Award Winner display, College Endowment display, and named room plaques.

The Clear Change System provides a flexible and cost-effective solution for recognition programs that continue to evolve. Recognition information is printed on film and placed behind a clear acrylic panel, allowing updates to be made easily without replacing the entire display. Additionally, the transparency of the acrylic allows university imagery, colors, and branding elements to remain visible behind the recognition panels, creating a clean, seamless appearance.

The Distinguished Award Winner display celebrates faculty members whose accomplishments in teaching, research, and service reflect the high standards of the Parker College of Business. University imagery, colors, and dimensional details tie the display into the larger recognition program while creating a distinguished space to honor excellence.

Similarly, the College Endowment display recognizes the investments that strengthen the future of the Parker College of Business. Dimensional lettering, layered materials, and a consistent visual style create a prominent recognition feature that celebrates the generosity supporting faculty excellence and educational opportunities.

Throughout the building, corresponding named room plaques extend the recognition program into individual spaces. By incorporating the Clear Change System, these plaques allow room names and donor recognition to be updated as needed while maintaining the same materials, colors, and design language found throughout the Parker College of Business.
