Religious donor recognition display at Temple Emanuel featuring colorful ClearTech recognition graphics alongside an illuminated Torah display.

Temple Emanuel Torah Display

For more than a century, Temple Emanuel has served the Jewish community of Gastonia and the surrounding region through worship, education, and community engagement. To recognize the generosity of congregation members who support its mission, Temple Emanuel partnered with Partners In Recognition to create a temple donor recognition display that combines meaningful imagery with adaptable recognition technology.

The completed display provides a vibrant and engaging way to celebrate donor support while creating a feature that reflects the identity, traditions, and spirit of the congregation.

A Recognition Display with Meaningful Imagery

Located within the Temple, the donor recognition display immediately draws attention through its colorful graphics, flowing design, and distinctive shape. Rather than relying on a traditional donor wall layout, the design incorporates donor recognition into a larger visual composition that creates both movement and visual interest.

The display’s curved form guides viewers naturally through the recognition area, while the vibrant artwork creates an engaging backdrop for donor recognition. In addition, the thoughtful use of color and imagery transforms the display into more than a list of names. Instead, it creates a welcoming recognition feature that complements its surroundings and celebrates the generosity of the congregation.

ClearTech Recognition with Integrated Imagery

To preserve the integrity of the artwork while maintaining the ability to update donor recognition, Partners In Recognition utilized the ClearTech System.

The ClearTech System uses translucent acrylic nameplates secured with embedded magnets. Because the nameplates float above the background graphics, the imagery remains visible while donor names are clearly recognized. As a result, the graphics flow uninterrupted across the display while recognition remains highly visible.

Furthermore, the magnetic nameplates can be moved, removed, or updated as recognition needs change. This flexibility allows Temple Emanuel to continue recognizing future supporters without replacing the display or disrupting the original design.

By combining adaptable technology with meaningful imagery, the religious donor recognition display provides both long-term functionality and a cohesive visual experience that can continue serving the congregation for years to come.

A Successful Partnership

Following the unveiling of the display, Temple Emanuel shared its enthusiasm for the completed project:

“The display was introduced during the evening services for the New Year, Rosh Hashanah and all were invited to look it over while they ate dessert and socialized after the service.

To say that it was a huge success would be an understatement!

So many people wanted to talk about it…who made it…how to get their name on it…and so on! I felt like a proud mother! It totally exceeded my wildest expectations! Everyone said that they loved it.”
