Helping Guide Dogs of America Continue Their Mission

Every day, Guide Dogs of America helps individuals gain greater confidence, mobility, and independence through partnerships with service dogs. Through its programs, Guide Dogs of America breeds, raises, and trains guide dogs for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. In addition, it provides service dogs for veterans and children with autism, as well as facility dogs that support professionals in hospitals, schools, and courtrooms. To recognize the generosity that helps make these programs possible, Guide Dogs of America partnered with Partners In Recognition to create an outdoor service dog donor recognition display. The display celebrates the individuals, organizations, and foundations that support its mission.

Supporting Life-Changing Programs

Guide Dogs of America provides transportation, personalized training, room and board, and ongoing support services at no cost to recipients. As a result, individuals gain greater independence while building meaningful partnerships with their service dogs.

Behind every guide dog, service dog, and facility dog is a community of donors who help make these programs possible. The donor recognition display serves as a visible reminder of the impact philanthropy has on both the organization and the individuals whose lives are changed through its programs.

Recognizing Donors Across Every Giving Level

The freestanding donor recognition display recognizes supporters at multiple giving levels while reinforcing the mission and impact of Guide Dogs of America. Dedicated recognition areas celebrate Friends, Partners, Silver, Gold, and Platinum donors, creating a lasting tribute to the individuals, foundations, and organizations that help make the organization’s programs possible.

Custom dog silhouettes integrated into the structure help connect the display to the organization’s work while creating a distinctive visual element that stands out within the campus environment. The layered design adds depth and interest while guiding visitors through the various recognition levels.

More importantly, the display creates a lasting tribute to the individuals, foundations, and organizations whose generosity helps make Guide Dogs of America’s programs possible. By prominently recognizing donor support, the display reinforces the important role philanthropy plays in transforming lives through partnerships with service dogs.

Combining MagTech and Clear Change Systems

To support future growth, the display incorporates both the MagTech System and the Clear Change System.

The MagTech System uses magnetic donor panels that staff can update quickly and efficiently as recognition needs evolve. Likewise, the Clear Change System allows donor information to be updated without replacing major components of the display. Together, these systems provide a donor recognition solution that grows alongside the organization. At the same time, they maintain a clean and consistent appearance that reflects the quality of the overall design.

Recognizing Generosity for Years to Come

A thoughtfully designed service dog donor recognition display does more than list names. It highlights the generosity that makes life-changing programs possible and helps tell the story behind an organization’s success.

For Guide Dogs of America, the display celebrates the donors whose support helps provide guide dogs, service dogs, and facility dogs to those who need them most. Furthermore, it demonstrates how philanthropy helps expand opportunities for individuals and families across the country. The combination of durable outdoor construction, mission-focused design, and flexible donor recognition systems ensures the display can continue recognizing generosity for years to come.
